Biomes are climatically and geographically defined as similar climatic conditions on the Earth, such as communities of plants, animals, and soil organisms, and are often referred to as ecosystems. The biome that we have researched is the mountain biome.
Basic Information
More specifically, we chose the Himalayan mountain range to research. The Himalayan mountain range is in the heart of Asia, covering an area of 2,250 km with an average width of 200 km. Obviously it is a part of the mountain biome and it covers 7 counrtries: Bhutan, China, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, and Burma (Myanmar).
